The weekly Spanish video games industry newsletter (October 7)

Hello, everybody!

Welcome to a new entry in our weekly newsletter. We have a couple of new releases this week and, of course, the Steam Next Fest is running until October 10 where you can play a bunch of Spanish demos. Let’s go!

First, let’s take a look at new releases. Rivalia is a singleplayer ARPG and roguelite from Fsix Games, with a cartoon art style that combines the best of both genres. In Rivalia, players take control of 4 main characters who must confront the evil jester who has wrapped the castle of Rivalia in a space-time loop. The game is available on PlayStation consoles and on Steam.

Xaloc Studios is also releasing a game. The video game adaptation of the L.O.L. Surprise dolls is arriving to Steam and consoles. In this game players will be able to choose a character, collect fabulous L.O.L. Surprise! dolls full of glitter, diamonds and more, and team up with up to four friends.

And, of course, there’s that (not so) little thing called the Steam Next Fest. If you want to try some Spanish game demos, we suggest you a few of them: Friends vs Friends is a frantic, online PvP shooter that combines combat and deck building from Brainwash Gang. Bigger Than Me from Dead Pixel Games is narrative-driven game about Max, a young man full of uncertainties with a peculiar problem: he becomes giant everytime he hears the word ‘FUTURE’! And, last, The Knight Witch from Super Mega Team is a metroidvania adventure game with fast-paced, shoot ‘em up combat set in a beautifully hand-drawn world.

That’s all for this week! Remember to follow us on social media to stay updated on the latest news about Spanish video games!
